    Hi

I have a qustion re:the old fender Jazz MIM verses MIA debate, which is: I have noticed that the body sizes are different, the deluxe MIA having a smaller body

Is this true......and does anyone care.

Do the delux MIM's have the smaller body as well?!?

Is it due to the different density's of the two different woods(poplar, alder) used, or is it that the less you pay the bigger the body!?!

which is the original jazz body size!?!

    Thanks

Only the MIA deluxe has the undersized body. This is because it has a 22 fret neck.

    More frets = longer neck

    Longer neck = shorter body
