    $1.69 for 87 octane.

You Think A Gallon Of Gas Is Expensive? $1.69 for a gallon of regular gas makes one think, and puts things in perspective.....
    Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ....... $10.32 per gallon
    Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ...... $ 9.52 per gallon
    Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ............. $10.17 per gallon
    Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ....... $10.00 per gallon
    Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ......... $33.60 per gallon
    Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ......... $178.13 per gallon
    Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ........ $123.20 per gallon
    Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ............... $25.42 per gallon
    Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 ................ $84.48 per gallon
this is the REAL KICKER......Evian water 9 oz for $1.49 ........ $21.19 per
gallon. $21.19 FOR WATER! ....and the buyers don't even know the source. But then again EVIAN spelled backwards is naive. So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid, PEPTO BISMOL or NYQUIL!!!! Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump...
  8. $1.79 for 93, $1.69 for 89, $1.59 for 87 here in Amherts Mass.(this is the cheapest i have found)

The prices on Cape Cod are about $.10 higher on all the different octanes

Its becoming more and more apparent to me that the way things are going i'm not going to be able to afford to drive to school with my current car(1994 Dodge Ram B150 w/5.2 V8)

$1.499 for 87 octane(if I shop around), although there is one lame-o Shell station selling it for $1.939

Just be glad we don't have to pay what most european countries pay!
  11. $1.56 here for 87

car gets about 18mpg in the city. Bike gets between 33-40 depending on how I ride :) But it takes premium at $1.82. Still better.

I think $1.59ish. Something like that.

Most I've had to pay: $1.89

Least I've had to pay: $1.19

Least I know of: $1.05 (in parts of Alaska)

Nyquil is worth every penny. :D I mean that in the relief from a flu way and not the jackass using it because they can't get real drugs way.

It's still cheaper than milk. $1.67 for '87. About .10 a gallon more as the octane goes up.

I heard that comparitively, if gas prices kept up with bread prices since the 1920s, it'd be close to $15 bucks a gallon.

    Veracity unconfirmed.

$1.60 is the cheapest I found around me. The average is around $1.73.

A friend returned from a trip to Korea recently and said gas was over $3 per gallon. YIKES!

    3.67 Euro...quit whining.

  19. Quite!

At 72.7p per litre of unleaded premium, that becomes £3.40 (GBP), which at todays exchange rate of 1.87 dollars to the pound is $6.36 per gallon (note, that is an imperial galon, not a US gallon, so it would work out cheaper than that....but not a whole lot!)
  20. Ha, I knew this would happen! It happened last thread. Everyone in the US complains about high gas prices, (btw, around here the lowest is in the 1.50s maybe) then the Europeans point out how expensive gas is in the rest of the world. :spit: I'm paying more than I'd like to for a tank of gas, but hey, it really could be worse.
