I've seen them mentioned on the forum a few times before, but only briefly.
So I wondered if anybody on the board has heard of/heard scandinavian jazz quartet The Real Thing??
Care to express your views on them? Myself, I have two of their albums and I've seen them live once.
They are great! B3 organist Palle Wagnberg has the coolest basslines, still just using his left foot.
When listening to them you feel a bit obsolete. :D

Got me again, I thought this was going to be about FNM.

There was a thread on this awhile back ago. Try doing a search, and see if you can find anything.

Well, that tread you mentioned isn't about them. They are just mentioned because someone confused them with a 70's funk band under the same name... I don't know of any way of hearing their music, other than buying their records. I haven't found any music on the net (with iMesh/WinMX and such...)
They have been touring Europe in the past.

I thought "The Real Thing" were a 70s funk band as well - I might even have bought some of their records!! ;)
