And finally the new Triad 5 colors, also with the enlarged logo…

The blue dub king does look awesome. I'm really digging the purple Mercalli 5 tooThanks @El Trueno -- those are some beautiful colors. I'm especially partial to that dark blue Dub King and the Metallic Copper Sentinel. Sweet!
Good things to come!Just saw a vid where Ken said that they're gonna do a bigger relaunch on the bass side next year, just like they did for the guitars this year. Can't wait to see what they have in store.
I can also confirm this. We are going to do our best to help spread the good news (when it's approved to be spread!).Just saw a vid where Ken said that they're gonna do a bigger relaunch on the bass side next year, just like they did for the guitars this year. Can't wait to see what they have in store.
Go figure, the Reverend dealer nearest me (about a 50 minute drive) had one of those black/maple ones in stock, though it isn't advertised as it was a factory second with minor finish flaws (I wouldn't have noticed if they weren't pointed out to me). They had a mulberry pearl Decision P (with rosewood fingerboard) as well. I tried 'em both today. That black Decision P with the maple fingerboard and gold pickguard had some seriously killer tone. But I preferred the unique color and feel of the mulberry pearl one (I guess my hands prefer rosewood fingerboards since that's what they're most used to).The black/maple Decision P is also gone. I guess we'll find out in 10 days![]()

Congratulations! Love that mulberry pearl finish!Well... I took the plunge and now own that mulberry pearl Reverend I just talked about.
The Prestige Soundgear I let go of to bring home the Reverend would/could objectively be classified as the superior bass, but the Rev is more in line with what I like (especially the neck profile. Soundgear is too pencil-thin and narrow for me).
A patron at the music store practically said to me, "Bro, I'll literally buy that Reverend for you right now if you give me that Soundgear! I've always wanted one of those!" I like to do things by the book, but since this was a mom 'n pop store, they somehow figured a way we could make the deal happen (since the store wanted the money and not another used bass in their inventory, so somehow it felt like a win-win all around).
And let me tell you... my theory was right that Reverend basses (like Spectors) are like potato chips. It's hard to not want more than one. While I only have two basses total (my new Rev and my modded LTD), I would not turn down another Decision (the sandstone finish looks nice) if given the opportunity to procure one. And I 100% would make the 50 minute drive back to that music store if I was in the market for another Reverend. Great store, great people, yeah. Super comfortable bass, that Rev, and sounds incredible (both unplugged and through an amp).
I'm trying to decide whether to name this one Mira (after Mira from K-Pop Demon Hunters) or Blush... but I'm leaning toward Mira. Just needs a setup, some Dunlop straplocks, and the journey begins to find the strings I like best for it.

It was so much fun having my students, friends 'n family, and the Internet weigh in on whether to name my mulberry pearl Decision P Mira or Blush. (Mira won 53-51).And, this weekend, I have a poll up to help name my Reverend
Okay so... as mentioned here, I recently snagged this cool Reverend Decision P. I'm torn whether to name the bass Mira or Blush.
For fun at work today, I had the students I work with vote on which name: Mira or Blush.
I'm also having friends and family vote on which name (for fun).
And since one of my friends (with my "sure, why not?") put the poll on his Discord server, I thought, "Why not put the poll on TalkBass? See what The Internet thinks would be the more suitable name."
So there you...

Thats's pretty cool...how did he fill in the pickup cavities and match the wood grain so well? What are the new pickups?had a local luthier do a severe mod to my og Brad Houser
Cool mod job, I like the new look! But I'd quibble with calling this an OG Brad Houser, as that to me would be one of the old BH5sI had a local luthier do a severe mod to my og Brad Houser
I believe they used D'adarrio exl 165's. From their site:Does anyone know what strings (brand and type e.g nickel, steel) the Sentinel ships with?
