Rickenbacker Special Run 4003S 5-String Bass Copper Orange Glo
How do we know they don’t?
makes sense they would break knees and not thumbs or fingers because you can still play with broken knees...
Maybe it's just me, but $1,250.00 for a custom paint job seems a bit excessive.
But.....it IS a Stunning color.
I can’t believe i’m GASing for a 5 string.
I know better, ultimately, but dammm that is purdy!
Same here, I dig that Jetglo Pearlstars one too that was posted.
I think it would look nice in Snowglo. Not a huge fan of orange, but I'd take it over green.
I dig the green ones!
Yeah, I'm not sure why, but I never was a fan of green guitars. Not too thrilled with red either. I used to dislike blue also, but that's been growing on me lately. A blue burst can be pretty cool.
I didn't like it so much when it was "bottle green."
"Bottle Green"? Bottle of what? 7-UP? Whatever.
But a bottle of Absinthe is a whole different animal.
The green fairy! I'm down for that.
speaking of that bass....
what do you think the chances are that Ric QC replaced the pickguard on it before it shipped out??
Probably about as good as you being removed from BH's $hit-list
What do you see?
I played one of these yesterday at GC in West Des Moines while shopping for my ROS rig:
I think it may go a long way toward making me feel better about my "lost-love" Copperglo. Its cheap ... I can mod it and not feel bad.
I hope Ibanez is selling the little 32 scale Mezzos like hotcakes so they come out with more varieties. If one had a pau ferro or rosewood or other dark wood fingerboard, I'd already have snapped one up.
I'm with ya on that. I'd prefer a darker wood as well. But lots of folks prefer maple for its "snap." Ima open minded kinda guy. I'd try it.
The one I played was nicely made but had a bowed neck. Nothing even close to a cursory/basic setup.
