Even if it isn’t true it’s a great take on a back story!
Yeah I think you can safely say you got a good deal.
Mmmm, fretless. I need to play more fretless…..
love me some "S" with no binding....best thing ric ever did, lol
looks like the body on my 95 shrunk and the binding is going to need a little filing to fit the groove, before re-gluing… is this covered under warranty?
although I got a decent deal on my fireglo, it wasn’t that good of a deal…
Let's say, for argument's sake, that 45s had become the record playing standard.....
Close second, really, as the 4004 series hit the big prize, for me, anyway.
This is the bass that has seen more than just a little bit of humidity/moisture, right?
Yep, long term storage by the sea.
I hear a song in that!
What rhymes with San Diego?
Leggo my Eggo.
That's all I got.
No binding IS great.
No binding with forearm contouring is even better!
Part of me wants to “relic” the unbound, but still flat-edged, upper bout of my 4000,
to better match the feel of my Cheyenne. But i hate that manufactured relic look.
If I ever were to refinish the 4000, I’d have the forearm contour done.
If I haven’t already mentioned it, (or even if I have), that is a particularly great-looking fireglo finish!
Best for Pirate Metal
You could ask Ric, but you might get the banammer treatment.
I would ask.
My hearts in storage by the sea
