    looks like the body on my 95 shrunk and the binding is going to need a little filing to fit the groove, before re-gluing… is this covered under warranty?

    although I got a decent deal on my fireglo, it wasn’t that good of a deal…

    Let's say, for argument's sake, that 45s had become the record playing standard.....

    Close second, really, as the 4004 series hit the big prize, for me, anyway. :)

    This is the bass that has seen more than just a little bit of humidity/moisture, right?

    No binding IS great.
    No binding with forearm contouring is even better!
    Part of me wants to “relic” the unbound, but still flat-edged, upper bout of my 4000,
    to better match the feel of my Cheyenne. But i hate that manufactured relic look.
    If I ever were to refinish the 4000, I’d have the forearm contour done.
