    Drums & Bass are so closely related in music. It’s the “meat and potatoes” of the band, says Don. In this workshop session, listen to Don’s touring bass player as he explains the importance of “locking in” with the drummer and demonstrates his role in the band.

    I agree to keep it simple, bare bone but I don't agree that bass and drums have a special relationship.

    If you listen well enough you'll hear that the piano part is also locking with the drums ... they are all one big rythm section ( still hate those words ) and the singer is kinda like a soloist not really over it but not following the same rythm pattern.

    I guess I'm weird to be preaching something different
