    you dirty bastiche!! you got John Pick's fretless!!- i missed that by about 10 minutes- i am ordering a fretless from Roscoe - i may have to have him dup this one, its FINE!!! John always said that was his best Roscoe- enjoy!! let me know how it sounds-- you rat , you!!:D

    That is my favorite Roscoe I've seen. I dig the hell out of that one. Natural, streamlined, and one would hope it's funky!

    no kidding!! nice!! - that walnut is screaming my name- its got me looking at this for a top for a Roscoe fretless 6 - what do ya think, Boogie??

    Boogie, why on Earth would anyone want a fretless like that? The strings are in the wrong place, there's too much wood, it doesn't cast a shadow... what a waste.

    Yeah, I was lucky. It's a sweet bass, alright. Played it for 4 sets last night and I'm real pleased. John was a pleasure to deal with, by the way. A real gentleman and righteous dude.

    The bass has a superb, warm singing tone. And the B string is just as monstro as all the other Roscoe's I've ever played. Here's a few extra pics:

    Hey boogiebass, I'm in the market for almost exactly what you just have. What type of wood is that, and how much was it, if I may ask? $2000s? $3000s? More? It's so beautiful, I just went wowza when I saw. I couldn't believe a 6er fretless could look so woodsy, yet refined. I love it! :D
