@alaskaleftybass I do the flat active as well and if i need a little flavor just cut the mids back a hair and use the freq select. The boost on these ibbys is pretty dramatic

    Thanks @nuage420b

  3. Huh, interesting. I tend to favor running my actives flat with a slight boost to the mids.

I love the back to back with EHB and a dingwall

Funny, the bass player from faith no more plays a Zon. I will say, the EHB does sound better though

The aggies in the 2400/2405 are awesome. Don’t worry about a few ounces. It’s still a small, well balanced SR

@Standalone I agree, it just too me by surprise. Honestly the extra weight gave it a bit more of a "higher quality " feel. The pickups sounded amazing I definitely want a set in the arsenal. I am impatiently awaiting FedEx for my new ibby, it's out for delivery now. Hopefully they don't make me wait all day. I have one piece of the pie, the icing if you will ready to be tossed on.

    Congratulations!

Do mind shooting the back of the...head... top of the neck? I'm really curious about the headless/normal string situation.

+100! Is that a roasted neck and what kind of reinforcements? I get my models mixed up!

It's the roasted mapel neck. I went with this body and the mapel neck. I have an obp3 coming and I'm looking at different pickups. I do not like these barts at all.

@Zooberwerx @ElBecko59 I knew the difference, I was about to buy a Sea Floor 1505MS but they weren't in stock and as much as I love the colors of the sea floor I can dress black up however I want with knobs and strings and change stuff up. I'm looking at a few options. Waiting for @LowEndLobster To do his swap with the aggies. My favorite are the big single nords I have on my 1300. I would try big splits on this, SD makes a split blade that would fit in this too. I have an OBP coming and I might grab a darkglass tone capsule. This will be the "last" bass i buy for a while i want to get it exactly how I want it.

It's so easy to play man. I love it. I am swapping in a Seymour Duncan preamp and I have a set of MAMA jazz pickups for it.
