    Hey all,

    I've been trying to figure this out before I have it made. I'm going to get the cable made to bridge a Crown XLS. I was just wondering what I'll all need to know before doing it.

    I'm using a Bmax with a 1/4 out. I'm not sure if it's a mono or stereo output. Will that matter? Also, should the XLR ends be stereo or mono?

  2. Someone can correct me on this but I think you should ..

    Go with stereo (as in TRS 1/4"). Wired like this:

    Tip = + -> XLR pin 2
    Ring = - -> XLR pin 3
    Sleeve = GND -> pin 1

    If its a mono 1/4" plug it would be:

    Tip = + -> XLR pin 2
    Sleeve -/GND -> XLR pin 3 and 1

    If the output of the BMax is mono, then the ring on the 1/4" side won't be connected to anything, it will just use the tip and sleeve.
