I was just wondering if anyone had any information on what is used or may have been used by the bassist in the song "The Tanbark is Hot Lava" by Dredg. Pedals? Amp? Something else? thanks.

    From Bassplayer mag:

Drew tours with three Ernie Ball Music Man 5-strings, which he sets up with extra-high action. “I can dig in a little more that way. It’s more work, but you can apply more pressure and really feel the bass at work.” He plays through an Ampeg SVT-II head and SVT 8x10 cab, and his effects include a Boss digital reverb pedal, and a Big Muff distortion pedal.

I am pretty sure he is using the Big Muff in that song

    Hope this helps....
