    "Once upon a time, record companies kept clubs in business, by buying tables and drinks. They don’t do this anymore. Clubs have to make it on their own."

    Interesting....probably before my time, but perhaps why we're all in a tizzy about live music in clubs. Did the DJ kill the scene or did the record company?

    Not true. If that were so, explain KISS versus Adele. Only one example. Every act is different.
