The top inspirational bass DVD's (instructional or performance) so far...

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by Mark Perry, Oct 9, 2009.

  1. Apologies if there have been threads like this already. I was looking through my DVD collection and saw Jaco's DVD. That one is something i could continue to get a lot out of, no matter how long i have it, or how much i use it.

What videos/DVD's have had the same kind of strong influence on you?

  2. Victor Wooten's solo performance from Bass Day 98 will blow you away. He does so many different things throughout his solo that it really makes you realize that he is a freak of nature. Any Jaco video does it for me also.

For instructional, I'd say Prestias "Fingerstyle Funk".

Dunno about performance DVDs, I don't own any worth of notice...

  4. Jaco's vids always have something great going on in them

  5. Victor Wootens new, groove mastery DVD is very good as well.
