    I was listening to your clip out of curiousity and WOOO!O!O!OOOO!! WOOHOO!!!

    Damn.

    Thanks.

  3. Ugh! What did you used here?
    The dry signal sounded... weird... like cheapo MIDI.

    Uh you've been surronding yourself with too many keyboards there.

    That dry tone definitely sounds like picked bass to me.

    Any body have suggestions for posting? I have an affinity for overdriven bass and I have a few of my own examples I'd like to post.

    help a brother out!

  8. Ugh, thats not even an enjoyable sound lol.

    I mean fuzz and hi-gain stuff is supposed to be mean, but that just sounds like a really whimpy fart....

    No offence intended :)

    I cranked 4 distortion pedals in a row last night in attempt to make a wild sample, but the signal got so compressed you couldn't even tell what was going on.

    Either way, here's some random ones I have layin' about:

    butt
    poop

    That is a picked bass. A P/J w/ flats to be specific.

    As for the effects I used the POD (duh!):

    Big Muff Pi (gain/vol/tone all max) -> Sub Dub amp (gain max, bass/lo-mid flat, hi-mids/treb max) w/ Line 6 4x10 cab

    So basically fuzz->fuzz :D

    @nad: Cool sounds

    Man, I love sounds so much. There's just something appealing to me about over-the-top, radical fuzzy squeals.

    So maybe you can't use 'em in a real-world application, but it's still fun to play.

    Speak for yourself! I was thinking along the lines of a bass/drum/vokill blackend melodic death metal band ;)

    Oh, I haven't played metal in a long time... but I've made plenty of noise in my latest experimental project! ;-D

    Daniel, people like you and me are why fuzz was created. To think that at one point, people were satisfied just with overdrive... Pshyeah...

    :D

    This = my avatar

    One of the greatest overdrive tones I've ever heard, the mp3 does it little justice.

    nad, that sounds so damn cool.

    That overdrive tone is so damn thick,,, That bassline is so damn awesome. Is that the Blueberry?

    I thought I was done buying overdrive/fuzz pedals, but you went and gave me GAS.... again. I hadn't ever heard that pedal sound so damn good.

    Aye, the Blue Berry. Not a terribly versatile pedal, but that one setting (tone at minimum, drive at maximum) blows everything else out of the water.

    A few Allen Woody licks in there. At the end I threw in my Q-Tron just for fun :)
