I've posted this in the past, but here's my vintage Aria Pro II Jazz Bass:
My 1967 EB-3, bought NOS in 1972:
All original except for a refret job in the mid 80s -- oh, and the stripped finish. Doesn't get as much playing now since I go the GL Jazz, and I'm almost afraid to take it to a gig, if y'know what I mean.
1980's olympic bass!!! out dates me by 16 years!!!
My all original '64 Hofner 500/1 Violin Bass....
I have a 1965 Klira 661 "Texas". My father bought it used for 35 Danish Kroner (6-7$) back in about 1975. He plays guitar and not bass, so I got it from him a couple of years ago. It sounds a bit like a Höfner 500, but this bass has only four equalize-settings: B-, T+ B-, T+ B+ and T-.
I gots some 36 year old rick 4001's. Not worth a lot in this economy but someday ......
FEB 1973 and MARCH 1973
APRIL 1973 and JUNE 1973
JUNE 1973 and JULY 1973
JANUARY and MAY missing from pic (under restoration)
Ricktastic! You should make a picture calendar!
My 66 P:
My 78 Guild B-302:
I also have a newly acquired 65 Franken P. No pics yet...
My first bass, a 1981 Ric 4003 bought used in 1986.
I guess that nearly makes me vintage as well.

1975 Fender Jazz Bass(modded w/ Badass,not me!)
2 Mid-80's Fender J-Bass Special(Both met.Grey)1 beat-to-hell,1 exc.+++ cond.

My '78 Gibson Ripper
Which is older, the Willow VHS or the bass?
Hmm... funny, but not. Willow came out in 1988. Slight difference from the 1964 Hofner. Know your 80's movies.
Only own one vintage bass these days, but I kinda like it - it's a '59 P-bass serial number 37388. Neck and hardware are completely original, but the body has a 30 year old nitro 2 tone sunburst refinish that's darkened with age.
I have a few a 1978 Rickenbacker 4001, Alembic Series I LS 1980, Alembic epic 5 string 1994, G&L L2000 1983, are the best ones... looking for an old Fender P pre CBS
That's drop dead gorgeous... can I have?
