It's time to bust out your crayons and your pencils! Just for fun, here's a basic theory quiz. If you're interested in taking the quiz, submit your answers to me at my email JamersonBass@aol.com, as opposed to posting them, that way other people can take it too.

Again, it's just for fun, and to see if you want to challenge yourself. Blinky, Durrl, Pukespray, you're exempt. This little quiz wouldn't even begin to test you. :)

Oh yeah, this is actually written by Jamey Aebersold, it's not mine. It's from his Summer Jazz Workshops.

    The whole thing is to-
    "Practice what you don't know".

...then there's always one of Ornette's quotes-
    "Practice without memory".

Ye Gads! That was harder than I thought it would be! I decided to do the quiz just to see how much theory I know, and I realize I need to brush up on some more theory. There was one particular question (I won't mention here) that my teacher and I were just having a debate about the correct answer. Haha I can't believe it showed itself on the quiz. Jazzbo, I hope we get the answers?

Is there a prize for the highest score? :D

    I need more tattoos.

  17. You've got mail, jazzbo.

I have to admit that if having your bass in your hand is cheating, then I cheated.
