Sounds awesome! And I really like his aggressive playing style, though I would find it exhausting if I used it myself.

I'm digging on the Genzler Bass Array set up behind him and his chording chops. Bass sounds good, too

Agree. It does seem to be a great intro or budget friendly bass offering for sure. Roasted AND bound and blocked neck,
high-ish mass bridge and brass saddles.
Sounds good IMO I’d be lookin at a fiver.

That is a really compelling Squier alternative. Roasted neck, string through, spoke trussrod adjustment, come on! How do they do it for the price?

I hate when drive is added to a bass demo. My little pet peeve lol.

But, clean that bass sounds great!

Sorry, as well appointed as it may be, I just can't get excited over JAFSO.
Are we incapable of anything truly new and/or unique?

I hate demo videos. Just a platform to wank not show what a bass can do.

    Every thread ever.

"This bass isn't unique so it's pointless!"
"This player is technically proficient and I hate them for it!"
"This player is technically proficient and I love them for it!"

Personally, if you can't watch a "wanky" video and understand whether or not you can play whole notes on it, you probably don't need any more basses.
