The attention they put into construction is clearly evident
    8lbs
    One piece maple neck )surprising(!
Flying mojo pickups are really good
The most resonant jazz bass I’ve ever owned
It sounds like a really good late 60s jazz
    Think Larry graham
The secret IMO is the redeemer buffer circuit
No treble loss. Very open and bright sounding

Possibly the punchiest passive bass I’ve played in years if not ever
Also, I called them with a couple questions about the guitar and the guys at the shop are really friendly and don’t mind taking time to talk to you. That’s really nice these days

I'm familiar with their guitars - owned a Sedan (Strat) and a Coupe (Tele). On the guitars they had some secret sauce for hollowing the body a bit without it being clear how it was done. They were indeed very resonant.

There was a Russian fella on here a while back selling a beauty of a CAR stack-pot Jazz.

Mine is almost done! Can't want to play it. They are custom winding pickups which is all it's missing.
