Hi. Anybody ordered from Roger recently ? ANy problem getting your stuff ? He seems to be buried under work. I paid for custom tuner buttons at the end of last year and still am waiting for them. He answers my monthly pingings. Good communication but he comes with a new excuse every month. I'd rather get a reasonnable deadline.
Did you give him a custom shape? I ordered tuner buttons (of my design) from Roger and those took at least six months. They are CNC machined. For new designs he has to develop a new 3-d program . I'm guessing he does the "stock" shaped orders a lot quicker. I have to note: He had to do mine twice because of miscommunication (at no extra charge). At the end, the work was first rate.
Yes it's a custom order with a custom shape. I even had my luthier send him the proper wood. I chose him because I know he does a great job. It's doesn't really matter how long it takes. It's just that I'm the one who's got to ask about the status of my order (less than once a month) and each time I get told they're about to ship and will be ready within a week.
