I have been dealing with a lot of issues in the last 3 years. I developed a facial paralysis that keeps me from opening my eyes, which led to me losing my job. I got onto disability which paid the bills but not much more. Then, a year and a half ago, I developed CRPS in my knee, an extremely painful nerve disorder that has kept me from walking much at all. I have lost about 40 pounds, most of it muscle mass. Then, when I went up to Wisconsin to visit family and friends, my wife told me not to come home, we are getting a divorce. That was in October. Since then, I have been spending a lot of time with loved ones and I have started seeing doctors up here. I have been racking up the doctor bills and prescriptions have been expensive, but I'm starting to see some results. The pain in my knee has gone from 8-8.5 down to 7, and I am scheduled to have a sympathetic nerve block injection in a few weeks which should bring the pain down even more. My left eye and cheek have started to twitch, which gives me hope that I will be able to open my eyes again soon. Also, I saw a doctor who has seen this kind of thing before. I just went through another round of blood tests and will have an MRI on Friday. Hopefully there is something that can be done to speed that process up. And finally, it looks like my divorce may happen without the need for mediation. It has been amicable for the most part, except for her thinking that I can live with no money for 5 months. If everything continues as it is going now, I might be an actual human being again by summer. Woo-hoo! Thanks for reading, I know this ended up to be a long post.
