  1. 055C4BAA-2BB7-43D9-A2B3-B1DDE30DDB83.jpeg Time to confess..I know we all do things that we shouldn’t do..but we do it anyway..Like putting round wounds on a P Bass instead of flats..or accepting free drinks from Bill Cosby..
There’s a thread for everything else..though I’d see what other bad habits are out there.
I’ll start...I put drinks on my amp top at gigs..Sorry.

drinks on amps will eventually spill, just like cats will scratch your bass cab as they look straight into your eyes it's a sure thing

That's the most expensive cocktail table I ever seen. I'll trade you a real nice oak end table for that DB, straight up.

I do put drinks on my ratfur 410, but it's kind of begging to be ruined so I can spray it with bedliner. Hate that carpet stuff.

You put A LOT of drinks on amp tops at gigs.

On a rig like that, a spill probably won't amount to much more than a mess though. Keep on keepin on.

& honestly, i've always strung MY precisions with Rounds - I play loud fast Punk; not smooth talking Jazz, or sad lonely blues. :p

    Give the drummer a ride.
BTW, did you hear the one about the bass player who locked his keys in his car? It took him 30 minutes to get the drummer out.

Thank you. I’ll be here all week.

Secretly hoping for the 'Freebird' call (I guess any musician may be guilty of that, not just bass players)

In the old days I'd put a cigarette under the E string on the head stock. Whats that smell?

I was just wishing for a thread where I could pist this rant....

People whose sig line says "endorsed by Heavy Basses, Runamok Strings, Jeepers Sneakers". Kids, I hate to break it to you, but that company is NOT endorsing you. YOU'RE endorsing THEM. Either you don't actually know what "endorsed" means, or you don't understand how the deal works...and don't frakking tell me "whatever". Being ignorant but thinking you're smart is not a civil right.

Why the rant? I just saw three of these in one thread.
