Hello all. I currently have an OLP MM2 (my main axe) and a 2004 Spector Performer. I don't really use the Spector these days since there isn't much need for one in a rock/grunge band, and the Stingray fits well in my church band. I was thinking about selling the ole Spector and picking up a nice SX PJ Special! More often than not I'd simply solo the P pickup, but I love the vintage white with a black pickguard look. My only concern is the fretwork, however. How bad is it? I know that i get a much deeper tone out of the E than the others on the OLP, but what should I expect from the SX? Thanks guys!

Fretwork should be good - mine was really great. The worse I had was a slight bump or two on the frets...

If you read the early pages of the Megathread some people complain about the fretwork but it seems to be pretty good now. Both the SX's I've had and the couple friends have bought have been fine. You might need to have them worked on a bit if you want REALLY low action, but they're not bad at all.

Depends how picky you are. I am too picky.
