i know the woods, pickups and stuff, but im wondering

has any one ever seen a bass with a tremlo bridge?

im wondering because (you prob dont know this) i do alot of me and my bass type music, just my voice and my bass, and have really been trying to think of some crazy tunes that would sound killer with a tremlo (i know i could go with a wah, but i dont like using effects)

anyone have any insight on this?

A wah and trem do completely different things.

It can be done, but I'd strongly advise you not to do this. As a guitarist, I hate trems. Name any trem, I hate it. There are some out there for guitar that work really well, but even then... they'll never have as good of a sound or sustain as a normal bridge. They also tend to be harder to work with, take a long time to string, usually impossible to change tunings, and killer if you break a string. Furthermore, keep in mind that you have to route out a large portion of the body to put in the tremolo. That'll detract from the tone quite a bit.
