This body style ring any bells?

    I just cut this out and was wondering if it was already done by anybody?.........thanks ..........tom

    Kinda reminds me of a Gibson Thunderbird body.

    Yeah. Looks like a nonreverse Thunderbird.

    Not the same, but darn close.

    I was working on making a t-bird and the wood had a flaw I couldn't fix so I flipped it over. I am hoping it will balance better than a t-bird.......t

    I think it has a slight resemblence to a Gibson RD or RD Artist that was made in the late 70's early 80's.

    Thanks I found out the hard way that that piece of wood has other issues so I started over again. I am putting a set of bart J pickups in this one and a schaller roller bridge. Mahogany and Maple center with book matched Walnut top and back. I am working on the neck today......after I get done mowing way too much lawn :O( .....t

    Thanks I loaded the Bart pups today and am working on the rear profile of the Cherry neck tonight. I hopeto play it tomorrow night......t

    Got it up and running still need to do some work. It is neck heavy. I can't imagine how neck heavy some of the Gibsons must be. How do they play them?...............t
