Oh, ive played that bass, just have never seen it in the red color. Hot. Does it always come in that color choice?

  4. I played the 5 string version at a music shoppe a couple of months ago. Solid bass, good tight tone, the B was mediochre when played open, but sounded ok when used in other positions. Nice looking too. and well constructed.

ahhh but too expensive here in Australia. I'd have to settle for a MIM if I wanted a fender jazz.

I played one like two weeks ago. It was a great looking bass. The "c" shaped neck didn't feel good in my hands though. :meh:

it's great bass for groove and more. two of my friends had this bass. it has a good slappin' tone and more clear for finger-style funk than tradition fender jazzbass. and it has a beautiful finish.
through i like a vintage fender bass more but i like this modern one too.
