  1. ...but here goes anyway. Can anyone recommend a good combo amp? I used to have a Carvin 100w combo that had more than I needed power and sound wise, and was pretty much what I'm in the market for now.(You know it's a dark day when you have to sell the gear you actually use). If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Thanks!

    You can probably settle for anything at your local music store then. An ampeg will do just fine in that situation if you're looking for a brand name. My practice amp is a BA-110. Check out the new BA-112 at the website www.ampeg.com (sorry, too lazy to do hyperlinks). Ebay is another good option.
