This is how my pedalboard's signal path should look like when it's done

    Hi everybody.

I've just composed the picture below, which I think is mostly self-explanatory. The "command center" is a 2-channel Programmable Octo Loop from Buzz Electronics. Channel one is comprised of the first three loops, while channel 2 includes loops 4 to 8 (still one spare loop in this arrangement). I really appreciate any kind of input you may have about this setup. Thank you for your time! :)

uh yah bass only maybe needs 3 or 4 pedals at once.
    even better with less

    Distortion, synth/Filter or Delay based

never understood all these effect loops and this and that.

because in the end it always seems to sound like.

crappy distortion and a swelling farting whistling envelope follower.
    good luck....keep it simple.

dooooooooooooood........... piss off with that kind of stuff please. 's insulting to those of us that DO like a lot of effects.

and no, if you're not an idiot and be smart about signal path it very much does NOT end up "crappy distortion and a swelling farting whistling envelope follower".

Up to four basses are plugged there (selectable with the footswitches).

Looks nice. How are the loops programmed?

^ I was wondering if the command box has a master bypass, or some other way to program it?

Everybody posting pedalboards with loops should make a graphic like yours.

Well, my idea may change when I have the whole thing assembled (my pedalboard is still a work in progress), but right now I'm thinking of using the first footswitch to engage distortion and whammy at the same time, the second one to do the same with distortion, whammy, delay and envelope filter, #3 to turn on delay and phaser and #4 to work with delay, phaser and distortion. I have a lot of experimenting ahead!

It doesn't have a master bypass switch. I wonder if it can programmed to work that way. Programming is very simple:

that IS cool. i had the MusicOmLabs programmable switcher for awhile.......

The Official Musicom Lab Web Site

i had the 2 not the 3, very similar though. only thing i didn't dig about it was it was a little more of a pain to casually switch different effects at a time, but if you have a stable board and a stable set you're playing, this is SUCH a smart way to go.

  16. Looks pretty good to me. Make sure you cover any unused jacks.

  20. man... this is why im glad i only use a couple effects. at that rate, id have to go software or multi effect processor. hope it works out for you though. maybe once its all laid out it will be easier on the eyes.
