Scottsman. Born in the 20's. Emigrated to Canada in 1959, where he and my mom had a baby girl. Came across the border to Minnesota in 1963, and that's where I come into the picture. He's got maybe days left to live. He's 85, and has lung cancer. I am driving to Indianapolis tomorrow, where I will catch a plane, and go spend some time with him at his home in Florida. I'm going to do a nice thing online, showing you more about this amazing man. That's him on the right. In the middle of the photo are the King and Queen of England. It's around 1944 or 1945. My dad has always been proud to be working class, but not in some way that he dislikes people for wanting more. He taught me that education is important, and that you can always aspire to be whatever it is you want to be. I'm really messed up and sad today. For the next few days, I won't have access to this, or any other forum. A lot of you would be surprised to know how much you do to make me feel good sometimes, and I will miss the support a little. I'm going to go say goodbye to my dad, a man who has always been there for me, and never let me down. I'll say more about this later; that's all for now.
