Double dang the gui****s ! They get Sherwood Green, Shell Pink, and Shoreline Gold on the AVRI 65 Strats. And then there's this !

You're killin' me Fender. Can we lowly thumpers have some trickle down please?

What is this? Peanut Butter & Caramel Vanilla swirl?

I'd rather Sherwood Green. The White Blonde with the Gold Pickguard simulate Caramel & Vanilla well enough for me!

  4. If they made medium-dark green Fender P-basses, I'd probably sell all of my gear to get one.

Yeah, saw those the other day. Kind of want one. According to Fender all of them have different patterns. No two are the same.

This isn't for me either, but honestly, this is getting ridiculous. In the MIM models alone, guitarists get Plus Tops, Satin finish, and now this Swirl finish. Us bassists just get the normal color finishes, with one less color than the guitarists. Really, Fender? What the frack?

G&L tried that a few years back didn't they? The bowling ball finishes weren't all that well received if I remember correctly.

They were showing off a telecaster with the shoreline gold finish and all I could think of was how nice it would be if they put that finish on an actual tele style bass body. I'll have to settle for an ASAT instead at some point I guess. Darn

Yeah, it's not my favorite finish, but swirling always seemed like a DIY thing.

I would LOVE to have a P-bass with an emerald green metallic (or burst) finish. There's not enough green basses, IMO.
