I just saw it online.. It looks dead :crying:

Mine is full of life! It dances, plays catch with me, and we sing songs about happy stuff like candy and Cher's forehead. Who would ever want a sickly looking bass like that.. Grr

Nah, its not dead. Just life impared!

I wouldn't mind a worn out bass, gives you a better feel of it. You can think about what it has been through, whereas new basses; nothing, apart from some grubby worker making it.

For some reason when I saw that I smiled...I guess it's because of the MM pickup in there, makes it look like someone is smiling cartoon style.

I like that thumb, it doesn't look dead...it looks 'mysterious.'
  7. That isn't too bad, i'd play it, cuz i'm a warwick freak. And Marvin, that is one fine looking beast, what is it made out of?

It's a custom thumb with soapbars.

 ....umm.....yeah...I don't get it. :bag:
  12. Except for missing the treble knob, I think that thing looks sweet. I would give it a good home.

I think it looks rather cool. Seems to me that it's a late eighties/early nineties Thumb 5 N/T with Bartolini soapbars.

    Is it for sale?

I found it on the itnernet.
  15. Looks like a wide 5 I had for awhile- same pickups, etc. It had a slightly differently shaped body than the narrow-spaced 5 I had at the same time; I think for wide neck 5s they use the same body blank as regular thumb 6s & just rout the bridge mount accordingly. As for looking dead, maybe it's a DMV photo...
  16. Just looked again- that thing ain't wide, is it? Gotta be neck-thru, though. Definitely a DMV photo.

I actually like the look of that bass. I wouldn't pay a dime for it though. I can't stand Warwicks. That's just me though.
