I'm going to the Bass shop Thursday, and am picking up a few things, and I thought about getting some Thomastik Flatwounds for my Electric Bass---Has anyone tried these? I know Lemur says they're great, I'm wondering if anyone here has them on their slab, and could give me an opinion before I buy some on Thursday-------

I do have Thomastik flats on my Yamaha fretless, I will never switch--they are amazing--very punchy! Can be pricey, depending on where you buy them. You might want to check internet shops, too.

I've got 'em on my fretted Epiphone semi-hollow body and love them. Haven't tried 'em on the fretless...
