    A set of Thomastik Spirocore Superflexible Solo strings. Unopened packets
    Either use for solo tuning or great for concert pitch low tension as played by Eugene Wright, Percy Heath, Al McKibbon etc in fact I got 2 sets of these when Eugene Wright borrowed my bass for an Australian tour…
    As pictured set regular 3/4 size
    List price is online $198 plus postage

    are these Red at the ball end or Blue? It will determine if its a superflexible solo or spiro solo

    The 3886 set is indeed Spirocore solo 3/4 set.

    Yes I know about the blue and or red silks but this set is sealed brand new so I haven’t checked the ends. I have had these before marked as super flexible on the packet but with red windings at ball end and yellow the other. I had a set like this years ago when I lent a bass to Eugene Wright for a tour. He requested these strings to be played at concert pitch.
    If anyone is serious about the set I can open one just to be sure.
    I have never actually seen a solo super flexible with blue at the end, only regular.

    OK thanks I see what you mean with the 3886
    Not sure why but I have had several of these sets labelled super flexible solo but with red ends...

    Those are old packagings.
    It says Spirocore at the top anyway.

    I have a NOS set of these in the same packaging. They're Spirocores.

    Maybe I should change the title on my listing then? Spiro solo sets list for higher price than super flex anyway ;)
