i believe they were used in a girl band scene in an austin powers movie. they were cheap, shortscale, looked kinda like a les paul but with a very exaggerated and rounded horn on the bottom. super sparkly finishes and bright colors....

anyone know what basses these are? i thought they were ultravox but i couldn't find any in a search. i had their catalog around 5 years ago. can't remember fer nuthin though. help. thanks.

Musicvox Space Rangers, Joe! The guitars and the shortscale bass were the Space Ranger, but they made a much cooler long scale bass called the Space Cadet, even in 8 and 12 string models.

I played a few of those MusicVox. Pretty cool, if you are into that sort of thing.
