Thoughts/ID on this cab

I'm looking at buying a smaller cab that's easier to haul than my NV610 for quick jams.

This one is about 25 minutes from me, but there's not much info on it. I don't need the head all though he wants to sell them as a package. Any idea what the cabinet could be? He says its a Traynor with an EV speaker. Trying to figure out if it's going to sound big with my GK 800RB.

By the looks of the trim around the edges of the cab it is an older model traynor possibly from the 70's or early 80's. It looks as though the grill has been changed as they came with a silvery grey grill cloth originally and an eminence speaker which has been upgraded to the EV.

I picked it up about an hour ago. Sounds pretty good, decently loud and didn't fart out with my 800RB turned up pretty good. Need to confirm the 8 ohm impedance and then maybe I can have a rig of bi-amped doom.

Glad it turned out well for you. EV always made great speakers so it would be a great upgrade for that cab. Probably a good chanch it will be 8 ohm being a single speaker but you could check fast by testing with an ohm meter to a speaker cable plugged to the cab.

If you check it with a meter just remember you are reading DCR not AC imped. A reading between 6-9 ohms should be a 8 ohm speaker.
