I usually play through an Ampeg B100R or a Bag End S15D with the Ashdown 400 MAG and DI it through the board and two 18" subwoofers. We sometimes play in this club with a very small stage so the drummer (who always mikes his rig) uses just one subwoofer and places it on the stage. Would it sound ok if I just plug into the board and not have an amp since my amp is only for stage sound?

Well, it would be OK in that you would probably be able to hear yourself.

There really is no need for an amp, but in order to get a decent sound, you will at least need some sort of preamp. The EQ in the board is not designed to shape a bass tone as is a bass preamp.

If you have a sansamp DI or POD or something or even a rank preamp or little sadowsky box pre, you would sound fine going straight into the board.

Would using a Workingman's 10 or some other small amp with a DI work? Something small enough to not take up too much room...
