I'm restringing my P-bass today and I've got BIG DECISIONS to make.

I've never strung it through the bridge, as I always assumed I'd get better resonance, sustain and sound throught the body. Anyone know the differences between the 2.

Should I just go cRrazZy and try it through the bridge?????

I had a MIJ Jazz with the standard thru-bridge for two years b4 getting my MIA Jazz with the thru-body mount. In my opinion, the thru-body makes a big difference (good) towards the sound and sustain. If I had an option, I'd go thru-body, but your ears may like something else.

Supposedly, a bit more sustain through the body and possibly somewhat punchier through the bridge. I've never been able to tell much difference, however.
