Ok guys, I just bought a 98 Thumb bass bolt on from incognito89x and it's exactly what I was waiting on. I bought an FNA jazzman lookin for the "warwick" growl ....but I didn't get the tone I have out of the thumb. Without playing out of my live rig of a GK 1001RBII with dual neo 2x12 cabs....playin an old a** fender 300 bxr, I can only what tell what will happen when I turn that piece up and lay some mad chops down. Just thought I'd let you crazy guys know.

  2. Really, so the thumb has a lot more growl than the FNA? is the FNA more of a jazz bass?

I thought the thumb was pretty much 'the' bass for the warick growl. Whilst FMA Jazzman's had some of the growl, yet could also get smoother as well.

I'm hoping for a Streamer Stg 2 or LTD '02. But we'll see.

Indeed. I had two Corvettes before I had the Thumb, and though both were great sounding instruments, neither had the growl that the Thumb did.
