I've noticed that the neck-thru Thumbs seem to have the bottom stap button set higher up the body than the bolt-ons. Is this the case? If so, maybe moving mine to the same position will allow for better balance? Any thoughts on this?

How does your bass balance now? If it balances well, why would you change it?

I certainly don't claim to be an expert (though I may come across as one at times;)), but I would think that Warwick would place the strap button where it balances the bass best. Isn't it possible that the positioning is different because the two basses balance differently?

Other than the woods used the layout on the body is the same. The neck thru may be heavier overall but should balance out the same
