    Do they exist?

I have been looking for some inexpensive rockbass(since my Ibanez Soundgear has become bit boring), and Epi Thunderbird seems like one. I'm going to give one a testdrive soon.

I have seen someone mention Thunderbird 5-strings over the net but I cannot find any info at Gibson's or Epiphone's websites, or actually anywhere.

Any pros&cons about these basses are appriciated too.

The original Epiphone Thunderbirds were available in a 5 string version. This used the so-called "non reverse" body style and had P-J pickups. They are no longer made but pop up used pretty often.

The better known reverse body T-Bird has never been offered as a 5 string by Gibson or Epiphone.

I thought that everybody knew that "Thunderbird 5" is a manned space-station which co-ordinates the activities of Thunderbirds 1-4 for International Rescue! So of course it exists! ;)
