If anyone has an Epiphne Thunderbird IV Reverse, has
played one, or heard one What do you think of it?

I've had one for a year and a half and I'd like
to here your opinios about it.

    I got mine for $360

Do you have the reverse. or non-reverse body style?

I'm going to guess that since you have the Thunderbird IV, it is what is called the reverse body style. I haven't played one, but I'm disappointed in Gibson for doing this model (and the forward body, too). The Gibson version is a neck-through, but the Epi is a bolt-on. Please note that I'm not condemning the Epi piece, but it isn't a true replication of the original. It may sound really good, as do a few of the Gibson/Epi reissues I've tried, but it isn't the real thing. I'm trying to NOT sound prejudiced, but....

I had the non-reverse Epi..and it IS a VERY good bass on it's own. But, it made me want the real thing even more...:D
