I always thought harley davidson and ampeg made a great combination.
These are all things of beauty ....
My Thunderfunk 550 arrives this week. Unfortunately I just sold my Fireblade
I bet no one messes with Lync, his dog's as big as a bloody harley!
He wants to take on the Harley!
I know you used to be a Bassman 400C user. Other than volume, how would you compare the sound, tone wise, of this setup compared to the Bassman?
The tone of the Thunderfunk is similar to the Bassman 400, but a bit warmer and diverse. The 'funk also has more volume.
This setup can go to a much higher volume than the 400 without breaking up in a bad way.
I am looking for a smaller cab though since some club owners get scared when they see me wheel the Ampeg in.
Lync....check out the Bergie NV610 if you like the ampeg vibe...
3 feet tall, 2 feet wide, and 15 inches deep and it sounds a lot better (to me) than the Ampeg!!! (I had a 72' SVT head and 70's 8X10 cab so I know!!) The Bergie is a really great cab for that style. I currently use Accugrooves but I must admit, I have been feeling a bit of a GAS pain for a NV 610 to pair with my T-Funk on those old school gigs!! A Bergie NV 610 and my TRI 210 would be INSANE!! OH the GAS....Check it out...
very nice !!
got the black and white thing goin' on ...
Oh...that's what the 1200R tank is for
nice rig, dog, and bike!
Way to go, E-Man!
I, too, have a TF...and a 1200R
Yikes! I've been busted from a fellow biker! COOL!
