Well, it's come down to posting pretty much all my gear, and I'll see what goes first. This is the newer 500 watt version, with the "Switch." All of you looking at this probably know about the "AG500 vs. Thunderfunk" thread. . . there's even a "Walter Woods Ultra vs. Thunderfunk" thread. I'm going to ask $1000 shipped, obo. I only got this a month ago and have used it twice at church, so it's pretty much new. It's a monster amp and Dave is a great guy. When things are not as financially crazy I will definitely be getting another one of these. And, if other things sell first, then this is going nowhere. . .

Hey, it's something Dave added to give the amp a more "hi-fi" option. In one position it has the signature TF tone, thick & tube-like, in the other setting it adds a bit more of a "hi-fi" sheen. I could tell the difference in my room when I first tried it out, but it didn't seem all that drastic to me. But when I tried it that first Sunday in a band setting, it was VERY different. The hi-fi setting was not at all thin, but very, very transparent in the vein of an iAmp800. In TF setting, it was noticeably thicker and meatier, more vintage sounding. Wild stuff. . .

I finally got to try a Thunderfunk today. While it's not my bag it was certainly a great amp. If someone is looking for a thick, punchy (emphasis on punchy!) tone than this is the amp for them.

    Bump!

I think Dave has said the TF is capable of going to 2 ohms, if it isn't pushed hard. But definitely contact him directly and ask before trying it, because I'm not certain on that. . .
