    comes with Thunderfunk custom rack ears. Head case NOT included, sold separately
    takes 1/4 & Speakon cables - 100% ready to go. A brilliant amp that will make your sound.

    2 rack ears (specific to Thunderfunk, from the factory)
    original handle & screws
    original rubber feet (4)
    Will split shipping.
    $600.00 Staying firm on this as this amp has the switch that wasn't on previous models built during that time.

    Well dern I was hoping is was power amp side standby. So it could safely be used as pre without cooking the out transformer sans speakers

    does the master effect or remain separate from line out level?

    ???!!!!! I'm pretty sure that there is enough internet data on these or I can have the talkbass brethren chime in and hopefully answer your questions. Separate volume control for the DI.

    I think these are fine to run
    I am almost positive you can run this amp without any speakers connected. You could always call or email the maker of the amp... Dave Funk - [email protected] - or - 847-257-3788


    The master volume will remain separate from both direct outs. The only thing it effects is the volume of your cab.

    The 1/4" out is a direct signal from your bass, buffered at line level, so not effected by any controls on the on the amp.

    The XLR out is the signal after the gain, limiter, enhance, effects loop 1, all the eq control, and timber - and then you kind of have a "master volume" for your direct out on the back of the amp.

    Great advice Ive written David. I hope he answers here.
    I had contacted EBS about an SS amp, and just because its modern SS doesnt mean they are safe to run without load. They where glad I asked over being unhappy later. Very curious about this one.

    Exactly. The owners manual on Daves site shows that you can run the head "all day" without speakers connected. Thunderfunk Rules!

    Yes the answer for this head from David: The power amp can operate without a load. Not the best situation but it won't damage it.
