Thunderfunk TFB-420 (serial# TFB221) in excellent condition. Great amp, based on the AMP BH-420 that Jaco used. LOUD, clear, and punchy with the warmth of a tube amp. Weighs 15 lbs.

This is the current version with Speakon connector and fan. Dave Funk modified this one about a year ago, adding what he calls "Power Amp Thru". It’s basically an additional input that allows you to run another preamp directly into the Thunderfunk power amp without cutting out the Thunderfunk’s onboard preamp. With this plus an A/B footswitch, you can create a foot-switchable second channel, giving you a lightweight, 2-channel amp with no fan. Of course, you can just use the TFunk exactly as it was designed if you prefer, without the second channel.

I’ve used it this way with an Avalon U5. It’s *very* cool to switch immediately from a thick, deep fingerstyle tone to an in-your-face slap tone with the flick of a footswitch. Note: some preamps will work better than others given impedance differences, Dave Funk knows more of the details.

Includes a pair of rack ears installed by the dealer when I purchased it (new) a couple years ago with a soft-rack.
