This probably comes as no shock, but I put a broken in set of TI jazz flats on my old beat up 90s mim jazz bass and they sound amazing. I didn't love them on a p, and the jazz was just lying around with no strings on it. It's kind of ironic, because I wanted to do the p with flats thing so bad but haven't found the perfect set yet for my am std p. However, now I am totally on love with this sound and my p is wearing sunbeams. It has totally changed my outlook on jazz basses.

I have them on my MIM Jazz as well and it is darn near a perfect sound. I also like them on a P, but this is different. You do have the options to make it more or less little bassier or not by varying the levels of the 2 pickups.

I can not live without one of my Jazz Basses with TI-flats.
    My favorite tone,

Oh ya, the TI's sound pretty good on a P-Bass too.
