TI Jazz Flats

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by LoveThatBass, Aug 19, 2004.

  1. Had a slight problem with the TI Jazz Flat in that the E string progression was not the same as going from A to D to G...the progression in sound from say the A to the E was just not right. While reading some other Reviews on them one reviewer stated that if the E and A string of TI Jazz Flats are to close to the fretboard the frets can smother the sound. Having read this, I raised the saddles on the E and A string slightly...now they sound uniform.
Anyone else experienced this with the TI Flats? Apparently they need a little more room to vibrate than some of the other strings I have tried. :bag:

The guages on the TI flats are kinda goofy and the tension
is low, but once you get 'em dialed in they're great for
certain stuff. It just takes some tweaking..
