i'm a fairly hardcore sr2000 user, but these strings are pretty bright, and given the bright nature of my zon sonus special, i was thinking about going with something a little...umm...not as bright :D normally, i would go back to my old standby, the d'addario slowounds, but here's my chance to try out the TI's...what do you guys think?

I've never played a Zon, but I can tell you that the Jazz Rounds are not as bright as those DM's. They are, however, very low tension, and you may have to adjust your technique (and bridge) to suit. Prolly not the best slap strings. I didn't check to see how many strings you're using, but the B didn't work for me. YMMV, of course.

I've got the Jazz Rounds on two of my Curbows, and they sound amazing.

I happen to like the slap sound on my Jazz with JRetro, so YMMV.

The B string on my 6 string fretless sounds great, and is rivaled by only my 5 string with Powerbass strings for tone.
