    Hi guys,
Did anybody notice that string "A" sounded different?
I put TI jazz flats on my Modulus VJ4 and I got such a deemed sound! It's very noticeable especially on the open "A". Could it be a deffective set?

What do you mean by "deemed?" The A is actually the best sounding string on my TI jazz flat equipped bass. But the bass has some serious resonance/acoustic issues  . The E is twangy and weak.

The "A" string got less sustain and sounds too much woody, very close to what we call the dead string. I know that TI have not been disigned for slapping but G,D and E responded OK, except "A" which sounded like a laundry rope.
