tight envelope with distortion switch

    ok, i'm pretty much lookin to only buy one pedal for all my needs, as i greatly prefer the sound of a solid bass. i think it would be nice to have a envelope filter that was nice, deep and clear, but also had a distortion switch for a difft. sound. there has to be one out there, can someone point me there? thanks, ryan

    It all starts with one, but If you don't want anything tweakable get the EH Bass-balls.

    E-H also makes the Tube Zipper, which is like a hybrid of the Q-Tron and Hot Tubes.

    I forgot all about that one, but I have no Idea how it would handle the lower frecuencies.
