some advice if you can spare some -
right now i play a 220W Ampeg BA210 combo, and it sounds great when i stand right in front of it when i'm jamming with my friends (drummer, 1 guitar player/vox), it's punchy and i can feel it on the back of my legs. but when i stand like 8 feet away and face it, it dies. i thought of maybe getting one of those stands that holds smaller amps at an angle so the sound is projected forward and up. or even propping it up on some sturdy block of something about a foot higher.
has anyone done this with good results?
